Overview

This project demonstrates controlling Hugging Face LeRobot SO-101 robotic arms over AWS IoT Core using only Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32C3 microcontrollers, without requiring a Mac, Nvidia Jetson, or the full LeRobot framework.

  • Hardware: Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32C3, Seeed Studio Bus Servo Driver Board
  • Servos: Feetech STS3215 Serial Bus Servos (6 per arm)
  • Firmware: MicroPython
  • Cloud: AWS IoT Core
  • Protocol: MQTT over WiFi, UART for servo communication
  • Robot: Hugging Face LeRobot SO-101 arms
